Quick Impressions
The JBL Go 2 sounds good for its size. There isn’t much bass but the sound is loud and clear. If I were to compare it with the Nest Mini though, I will say that the Nest Mini has better sound projection.
The Go 2 has a rubber body which feels smooth and nice to hold. And it is light enough to put it in your bag/pouch.
When connected via bluetooth, a single press on the volume-up button acts as the next track (when on Youtube, Spotify). And a single press on volume-down button acts as the previous track. To adjust volume, you need long press the volume buttons.
If you are looking for a portable bluetooth speaker from one of the more reputable brands, the Go 2 is a good option. It is lightweight, waterproof and the sound is satisfactory for its price.
