Microsoft’s new headphones allows manual control of noise cancellation.

At the recently concluded Surface Event 2018, Microsoft announced a new pair of headphones called the Surface Headphones.

The Surface Headphones is wireless and has noise canceling technology. It comes in only one colour which is light grey and weighs 0.69 lbs (290 grams). The speakers are powered by a 40 mm Free Edge driver.

Adjust the noise canceling level with the turn of the dial.

One practical feature not seen on any recent noise canceling headphones is the ability to adjust the level of noise cancellation using a dial on the left ear cup. This is much welcomed compared to having either an ‘On’ or ‘Off’ state. Battery lasts up to 15 hours (over bluetooth with ANC on) and a full charge will take less than 2 hours. Other details include a built in assistant, Cortana so you could ask it to play music, start calls or search the web.

Pricing is at USD$349 (RM1,445) and will be available later this year. However there’re no details on launch countries at this moment. Keep it on jumpadevice for more updates in the future.
