JBL Charge 4 Bluetooth Speaker has a USB-C port.

Not wanting to be left out of the party at IFA 2018, JBL has introduced the latest bluetooth speaker, the Charge 4.

Charge 4

Information is scarce but here’s what we know for the moment. The Charge 4 is a bluetooth speaker that’s s able to connect two devices at once. Like it’s previous iteration (Charge 3), the Charge 4 is rated as IPX7 (Waterproof), so take to the pool or to the shower, it won’t be a problem.

Multiroom playback is supported with up to 100 speakers using JBL Connect+. Charging is via a USB-C port, an inevitable trend that we foresee happening to more and more devices. Speaking of charging, battery (7500mAh) is touted to last 20 hours per full charge and the Charge 4 – like the Charge 3 – also acts like a powerbank. Available colours are Desert Sand, Mustard Yellow, Dusty Pink, Grey Stone, River Teal, Fiesta Red, Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Steel White, and Forest Green.

Price and Availability

The Charge 4 is priced at USD$205 (RM843) and will be available in October 2018.
We suspect JBL Malaysia to bring it in, but we don’t know when. Stay tuned to jumpadevice for future updates.
