IFA 2017 at Berlin which started from Sept 1 and goes all the way through to Sept 6 is a tech conference where companies showcase their latest product innovations. Amongst the glitz and glamour are smart speakers. And JBL is getting into the action with 3 speakers; The LINK 10, LINK 20 and LINK 300.
All 3 speakers are powered by Google Assistant, have the ability to link up to each other for multi-room playback, and support Chromecast audio. Starting with the LINK 10 and LINK 20, both are designed for portability and have an IPX7 waterproof rating (up to 3 feet of water). The LINK 10 can last 5 hours while the LINK 20 is 10 hours.
Now for the LINK 300. Being significantly bigger(236 x 134 x 154mm) than its siblings, it’s designed for stationary usage. This is also evidenced by no water-resistant or waterproof rating.
Price and Availability
The LINK 10 is priced at £149.99(RM 829) and LINK 20 at £179.99(RM 995).
While the LINK 300 is priced £249.99(RM 1382).
All speakers will be available in November 2017 in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. No word yet on the availability in Malaysia.
